Update! Habe heute nochmal Hank angehauen.
MfG,
Raff

Das is doch mal n positives Update!
Ich freu mich für dich
=)

hmm the diodes CR3 and CR4 most Rev.A 3700's I have seen only have CR3 some have both like yours does.
CR4 is mostly left aside since that is the one that causes the greatest instabillity problems, which I have heard from other V6K'ers as from Omega Supreme also, which may explain your problem.
here's my card with only CR3 attached and CR4 left blank:

Which motherboard are you using Raff?
Yeah, Hank removed the dead ones, but I don't know if he replaced anything.
I used a MSI KT3 Ultra2 (which is said to be "partly" compatible), but that wasn't the problem, afaik. Now I use an Epox 8K5A2+.

hehe, toller bericht raff.
Hey Farr why are CR3 and CR4 removed?
my card still has CR3 attached, I dunno what these CR chips 3 and 4 were placed for exactly, do you know this perhaps?
Hank once said, that CR3 and CR4 are there to protect other more vital parts of the card. I am unsure what parts though. But the intention obviously was to rather have two diodes die, instead of something even more important.
But more I do not know. Maybe there is less to it than i originally thought. I guess only Hank will know more.
