Hi All
My mate Niels and I have done something different today Remember when we had a HD 2900 XXT testbed? well we used the same setup to build a CUDA & OC test bed with the following parts:
AMD Athlon64 X2 2x 512KB L2 [2800Mhz] @ 6000+ [3100Mhz]
MSI K9A Platinum AMD 580X Chipset
2x 1GB Mushkin DDR2 - 800 CL5
XFX GeForce 9800 GX2 XXX Edition PCI-E 2.0 x16 1024MB GDDR3
eVGA e-Geforce 8800 Ultra Super Clocked Edition PCI-E 1.1 x16 768MB GDDR3
1x Maxtor 120GB SATAI 150 HDD
1x 550 Watt PSU
1x Zalman Fan Controller / wattage monitor
WinXP Pro 32 + SP3
Thge Latest Foreware Cuda drivers
DX9.0c
So here are the pics of our event.

Tomorrow we will OC this odd setup even that our CPU may be the bottleneck, our goal is to see how much we can get out of this system with these parts, a Thermalright Ultra 120 Limited Edition is planned so we can get more out of the CPU, as which better cooling could result higher clocks, if that doesn't work we are plaining to use an Opteron 12.xx serie's CPU, since these have unlocked multipliers and they seem to OC better than A64X2 BE's so for that part I will keep this topic up to date.
For CUDA we use Folding@Home.
IF you guys have any other tips or programs we could test CUDA with, please do reply.
As for the games that support Physx we are gonna use UT 2007, Crysis Warhead and 3D mark Vantage, but these titles we are going to use Windows Vista Business 64 + SP1.
And here's something funnyl i did with the 8800 U, I used it as a ramp for my Opel Omega
