Ein Thuban mit 1,1 ghz Ultra undervoltet und einem deaktivierter Kern?
Dazu eine Voodoo 3, geile kombi -
Das Brett ist durch Overvolting ziemlich hinüber. *lalala*
Durch den deaktivierten Kern sinkt die Energieaufnahme ein wenig. Den fehlenden Kern merkt man garnicht. Insgesamt ist da jetzt alles untervoltet und untertaktet (RAM @ 1,2 Volt, zum Beispiel).Und mal ganz im Ernst: Ob man nun ein leistungsstarkes System von vor 15 Jahren oder ein "relativ" neues, leistungsarmes System mit der Voodoo³ koppelt, ist doch eigentlich nicht wichtig.

Geil wäre es jetzt noch, wenn es die software die leistung so ummünzen könnte das die ungenutzten kerne des x6 der v3 bei grafikberechnungen helfen könnten:) warscheinlich ist die cpu bei der modernen ipc eh viel zu schnell für die v3

Wenn ich meine beiden Rechner, die hier auch drin stehen, umbaue/verändere sollen dann die Einträge aktualisiert werden oder komplett neue schreiben. Wobei es dann die "alten" ja nicht mehr gibt.

As far as I recall, all your "older" Systems have Win2k SP4 installed (which is a great OS, just to have that clear )
I mean the Obsidian Sys would feel more like home in an Win98SE environment and it would be way more powerful in D3D than the ATI Rage. -

Nice! Wie hast du den NX1750 da zum laufen bekommen? Ich hatte das auch mal vor aber hat nich hingehauen

Wäre mal interessant den gegen meinen V4 PCI zu benchen. Auch so eine mini Kiste, allerding mit SD-Ram, dafür 1,4er Tualatin drin...

Dann wohl Glückssache ob der 1750 mit weniger Spannung klar kommt oder nich.

Ich bin mir im Nachhinein gar nicht so sicher, ob er auch wirklich mit der richtigen Geode NX 1750+ - Spannung (beziehungsweise sogar mit der NX 1500+ - Spannung) läuft, oder eben doch mit einer viel zu hohen 1,6xV Desktop-CPU - Spannung.
Er wird nämlich sehr heiß, obwohl ich ihn aktiv kühle. Das Netzteil wird auch viel heißer als mit einem NX 1500+ (die Energieaufnahme des Netzteils hatte ich gemessen, aber erinnere mich gerade nicht mehr dran; war auch deutlich höher). Läuft aber so trotzdem >24h 3D - stabil (ohne Überhitzung / Netzteilausfall).
Ich weiß auch nicht, an welchen beiden Pins des Sockels ich die Spannung messen kann. Das konnte mir auch hier auf VoodooAlert niemand sagen.
