I am also seeking the best 5K 27"Monitor that has 10Bit color support.
My goal is to use this for my Boeing 747 phoot's that I make for Boeing 747 reviews thoughout the EU
And why this Vega? because Vega 64 is one of the coolest GPU''s I seen from AMD so yeah just want this to play my games but also just for the haves and great 5K support

This game runs butter smooth as well with max details @ 1920x1200x32, my card's temp is 50c max, the fans don't even spin only if the temp exceeds 50C! This card is truly amazing and dead silent. It's Sapphire Vapor-X Chamber with i's 12 Copper heatpipes and all of those aluminum fins do a great job by keeping it cool even with the highest quality settings in any game out there., my TYR's airflow also help it keep it's temps down, every little bit tends to do it's job quite well, the Anti sag L-Bracket was of no need to card is firmly placed, and it's power cords also avoid it from sagging down, thanks to the case design for the PSU being up tops instead of below

Hereby I would love to thank Karl Knaller from x-3dfx for helping me out, as I bought this card via him in Germany for 650 Eur incl shipping instead of 850 Eur incl shipping from NL, so yeah well worth it then

Vega 64, 8GB für 498€. Anscheinend günstig.

Die letzte High-End Grafikkarte, die ich neu gekauft hab war eine Radeon HD4870 und kostete 200€.

Ah, ich schätze ich kann's hier auch noch Mal posten, ist zwar massiv redundant, weil schon anderorts im Forum geposted aber was soll's, gehört zum Thema.

Talk about a just fit rofl, how does it perform and cool?

Other than that you will LOVE the image quality Vega 64 displays, I came from a GTX 1080 a to my Sapphire Nitro+ RX Vega 64 Limited Edition V2 and the Image Quality is warmer and has a much higher fidelity.

It may take some use going through the drivers, I do find them easy to navigate and use, and very easy to make profiles as the drivers detects what games you have, and per game you can make profiles you like most, it's very clear and easy to use. and it doesn't look like Windows 98 as NV driver's do.

499 is pretty cheap compared to the 650 Euro I paid for my RX Vega 64 even being a Sapphire Nitro LE V2 board.
In The Netherlands my card was around 872 Eur with Shipping lmao Just nuts

When the HD 4870 hit the market they sold for around 419 Eur in DE and around 529 Eur in NL.
Also why I mostly bought my parts in Germany so I didn't have to deal with Holland's overrated values.

Germany is a goldmine for new hardware thanks to the much lower prices they offer for new parts.

MaxICT isn't a great store they really have a strange method of dealing things I always avoid them.
Back in the time I bought my card Netherlands Amazon never found them only Amazon in the UK and those prices weren't fantastic either .

Overall this card is available at 11 stores from 675,52, outcountry it's available for 519, average value of this card in NL has a value of 822 Euros which is nuts.

As this reads:

Verkrijgbaar bij 11 shops vanaf € 675,52, buitenland vanaf € 519,00 (gemiddeld € 822,70)

So yeah Germany back in the day I bought mine my card was priced at a healthier 619 Euro

Heute meinen ersten Lohn bekommen und gleich bestellt:

- 8GB PowerColor Radeon RX Vega 56 Red Dragon  für 399€

- 8TB Externes Datengrab von Seagate

Die Vega hat die Platinengröße einer Fury Nano, aber trotzdem einen großen Dualslot Kühler.

Da die Luft damit ungehindert durch den Kühler geht, soll die Karte praktisch unhörbar sein.

Ich hatte mir eine Weile überlegt, die erschwingliche Gigabyte Vega 64 zu nehmen.

Dualslot, Lautstärke und Stromverbrauch sind mir in diesem Fall aber wichtiger, als die letzten paar Prozent Rohleistung.

Ich will heute einfach keinen lauten Rechner mehr.

Nächsten Monat folgt dann mein restliches neues System.

Ich muss jetzt erstmal mein BAföG zurückzahlen...

Mach in jedem Fall mal nen paar schöne Bilder im eingebauten Zustand.

An dieser Stelle muss ich ehrlicher Weise sagen, dass die Karte wirklich monströse Ausmaße hat.

Auch wenn ich hier wahrscheinlich gelyncht werde: Baue mir am Wochenende seit längerer Pause mal wieder einen Rechner zusammen, mit Ryzen 3 2200G, also inkl. Vega 8 Grafik. Bin echt gespannt wie das Teil so performed.

Meiner Messung nach ist sie keine 3 cm länger als meine Asus GTX970 und damit kein Vergleich zu meiner alten GTX570.

Verwechselst du die Karte evtl. mit der Red Devil Vega 56?

Da erreichen die Wärmeleitpads die VRMs nicht. Ein (wohl Garantieverletzender) Eingriff senkt deren Temperatur um 30°C.

Das erinnert mich sehr an meine Asus Strix GTX970.
Die hatte ich damals sehr günstig bekommen, da der GPU keinen Kontakt mit dem Kühler hatte.

Der Kühlkörper lag da so blöd auf dem Slotblech auf, dass er von der GPU abgehebelt war.

Preislich eher unattraktiv (wie m.E. fast alle Vega 56 Karten), dafür aber eben mit Backplate und nem ordentlichen Radiallüfter, der die Wärme aus dem Gehäuse bläst und sie eben nicht nur in eben diesem verteilt.

Ich habe ja vor kurzem einen Ryzen 3 2400G PC gebaut und auch gebenched.

Es kommt halt drauf an: für ne IGP is die Vega genial - aber ernsthaft zocken... außer eSports-Titel wie LoL oder Dota oder CS GO würde ich damit nicht.

Viel erwarte ich auch nicht. CS:GO ist wahrscheinlich schon das Höchste der Gefühle.

Und das Schöne bei AM4 ist ja auch, dass ich da vermutlich in zwei oder drei Jahren immer noch eine dann aktuelle CPU und eine Grafikkarte drauf stecken kann.

Wer noch ein wenig mehr ausgeben kann/will, kann auch zur Airboost Version von MSI greifen, die ich ja in Vega 64 Form habe. Kostet aber dann [knapp über 500€]... Wäre halt die "bessere Referenzkühlung", nur der Preis ist halt noch einen Tick weniger attraktiv.

@GAT: Wie laut ist die Karte? Fast 300W in der Bauform abzuführen ist schon beachtlich.

Die 64er Air Boost hätte mich auch sehr gereizt.

Aber fast 50% mehr Kosten und 50% mehr Stromverbrauch für durchschnittlich 12% Mehrleistung war es mir nicht wert.

Das macht leider einen recht gequälten Eindruck seitens AMD, dass man die Chips dermaßen treten muss. Mit einer Wasserkühlung würde das natürlich keine Rolle spielen. Mir ist es ein Rätzel, dass keiner der Boardhersteller in Stückzahl auf eine Wasserkühlung setzt. Mit dem Vega Chip könnte man pfeilschnelle Micro ITX Karten herstellen.

Über 300W hab ich auch schon geschafft +50% PT, alles rein kein Problem... aber bedenkt man kann locker 150mv den Core runternehmen und bei mir macht meine Devil dann mit der gleichen leistung und Takt nur noch 200-250W!
