just a little comment. most likely you got freeze from glide driver, not from cpu. try not to overcome 100mhz bus. if you want perfomance on s370, just use piii-1400s on 100mhz bus, you will get 1050mhz with no issues. i like how this cpu performs on my abit bx-133 mobo on both 133 and 100 mhz bus setup
Single 12MB Voodoo2 ist in Q3 schneller, aber in UT ist die 16MB Voodoo2 SLI langsamer
Anthony you Be right, i only used fsb 133 to Show Performance
fsb 125 (PCI 31mhz) there are no issuses and working stable. PIII got some weird texture lightning in some games or Texture fliquer. I could imagine thats something to do with SSE? PII450 everything is great and PIII 450 not.
For myself i think PII and Celeron are better options for Voodoo1.
SlotA Athlon is hell on earth like for Voodoo2.
But i will try i850 Chipset too.
what games have issues with textures? i might test them as well
we need someone, who knows how to assemble glide driver from sources, to make new driver for v1 with fixed issues

There u can use slot1 PII and PIII, PIII got crazy color. Both fsb100 and 450mhz.
UT got some texture issus in some level with PIII, Celeron Mendocino and PII is great.
But PIII 1000EB with fsb133 runs rock stable in D3D, OGL and Glide with Asus P3B-F. No Freeze
sure, certain combination of hw may work. but glide driver is crucial element too. v2 afaik is picky on the driver too concerning fast cpu and bus
Anthony this SLI Setup runs very nice on I850, in D3D aren´t any crazy color textures. Maybe the reason of FSB100 on early Pentium4 and SSE2.
who knows, i think recompile and reassemble sources in correct environment will be enough

The second TMU helps alot, i reach 35fps with single Voodoo1 (2TMU).
I think it should reach the performance of 3Dfx Banshee in UT?
But i like the Rush, it has quite good visuals and runs every game just fine.
In this video the Rush runs only at 45Mhz, cause of Hercules Stingray Dual Planar.

Someday i will buy a Banshee, it should be perfect for a PII System

One thing I don't understand, because the Helios 3D Voodoo 2 SLI vs Diamond Monster 3D II 12MB produces 85 Fps, while against the Voodoo3 2000 it produces 63 Fps ...

In round 5 the voodoo2 (Both monster + Helios) hit the cpu limitation, so that i raised the resulotion up to 1024*748 in round 6.
