Wie laut issn die Radeon VII deiner Meinung nach?

Und: Der NH-D15 bleibt auch im größten Gehäuse noch ein Statement.

Also ein Leisetreter ist die nicht. Die kann man schon ganz gut raushören (natürlich nur unter Belastung).

Und der NH-D15 hält die CPU immer in angenehmen Temperaturbeichen. Und das leise, mir ist der Rechner auch im x265 Benchmark nicht unangenehm aufgefallen. Dafür braucht der aber ne Menge Platz.

But yeah runs great, his OS on the other hand is Win 10 Pro x64 NL, a Dutch version and yea this is worse than the English version, not a fan of Win10 and I'll never will be, it's ultimate garbage, also I was constantly translating in my mind what everything is, from Dutch to English, sigh.. what a fucking chore, just chanceless

Anyways still using Win 7 here and I still will be even if support has ended, not caring much tbh, even that some say Win 10 Enterprise is the way the go, just not something I am going to look in to, anyone have an idea how the server operating systems are of MS?

Are they a chore like Win 10 as well?
Anyways the system it's self is nice it runs everything maxed out without worries at 1080p & 144p ( if using AMD VSR)
The name Springgold is a tulip type his dad loves most and he kind of stuck with that name for the PC name as well.

The Nitro+ RX 5700 XT is truly masterful tho, bloody amazing VGA card that is.
Ah well I'll see what I'll do and I know I will ave to move over toWin10 Enterprise at some point, just not now, all the Microsoft account bollocks you have to go through, just the idea of installing an OS isn't as easy as it was nothing is straightforward everything has just become more and more stupid.

Nice build there Maniac81 hope it serves you well, how is the direct compute performance of the RX 6900 XT, is it better than Vega 10 or Vega 20 or would you say use vega's instead or better the CDNA boards, even I wonder if they will be based on Vega 30 Acturis hmm.

For me, the RX 6900XT is the better card because I have an HP Reverb G2. The VII was simply not fast enough.

SAM gives you an additional speed advantage.

However, the card is simply not available at a reasonable price at the moment. The only rational thing to do would be to buy the card directly from AMD if you can get it there.

If you are satisfied with your current card, I would keep it until the market has calmed down a bit.

Gold Leader : A simple PassMark DirectCompute comparison can be found [here]. In this specific test, the Radeon RX 6900 XT is almost exactly twice as fast as the Radeon VII, 15015 vs. 7429 Ops/s, with the GeForce RTX 3090 coming out on top with 16139 Ops/s. This puts the RX 6900 XT at the same performance level as the RTX 3080, albeit at a much lower price, at least currently.

Interestingly, in this test the Radeon RX Vega 64 is about the same speed as the VII.

As for how generally representative this benchmark is I do not know.

Maniac81 : I also use my 6900 XT for the Reverb G2. It really made using the HMD possible, as it was just too painful with Vega 64, likely even more so than with your former card.

that could be a NVIDIA orientated test tho, finding a neutral and clean test is hard these days, NV loves to pay developers money so their cards perform better they are well known for this shitty behavior.

When it comes to gaming & Simulations, in many cases a 6900 XT would walk over a 3090 even being, that is if RDNA2 is very well supported and optimized for the task, Assassin's Creed Valhalla & Hitman III Are good examples

Only the prices they go for now, they aren't worth it for me, left alone the poor availability as well, making none of the new cards from AMD & NVIDIA interesting to left alone affordable.

I think it will take a year before all prices get back to normal same for stock for demand.

But hey I'm glad you were able to afford one, it's still the cleaner card design imo.

Ich hab mir auch mal wieder einen sinnlosen Rechner zusammen gebaut:

Den Rechner habe ich vor ein paar Jahren irgendwo mal für 5€ mitgenommen, Kaufgrund war wohl der XP pro Aufkleber auf der Rückseite und die beiden schwarzen IDE CD Laufwerke, ansonsten wirklich nur 08/15 Hardware. Allerdings fand ich das Gehäuse, auch wenn es noch so billig ist, optisch nicht schlecht und innen brauchbar aufgebaut.

Vor ein paar Tagen war der Basteldrang dann wieder hochgekommen und ich wollte eigentlich nur die Kabel schön machen - das hab ich dann auch getan, nur lief der Rechner danach nicht mehr > auf dem Board sind ein paar Kondensatoren ausgelaufen. Neue einlöten wollte ich nicht, daher Board raus und ein anderes rein.

Von @Dennis_50300 habe ich vor einiger Zeit einen XP3200+ gekauft. Als Sockelschutz gab´s ein MSI KT6V (VIA KT600) dazu. Auch ein eher langweiliges Board, also ideal für diesen Billigeimer.

Bei dem Prozessor war immer noch offen, ob er überhaupt lief, da ihm eine ordentliche Ecke fehlte. Der Rechner startete aber problemlos, es fehlt aber noch eine frische Windows Installation und die Benchmarkdurchläufe.

Meine 9800pro, die eigentlich rein sollte, gab kein Bild von sich, daher wurde es der kleine Bruder, eine 9600pro. Der CPU Kühler war auch im CPU Paket enthalten und wurde weiterverwendet, der montierte Lüfter hatte sein letztes Lied aber wohl schon vor vielen Jahren gespielt. Eigentlich wollte ich dann überall durchsichtige, rote LED Lüfter einbauen, die sind aber mittlerweile teuer geworden. Habe mich dann aber nicht Lumpen lassen und die jetzt montierten Lüfter neu! bei Amazon gekauft. Stückpreis 1,97€, das passte wie die Faust aufs Auge (die Lüfter sind aber gar nicht mal schlecht).
