Richtig heftig was hier passiert ist. Mich würde ja ein Voodoo5 Nachbau interessieren in Wunschfarbe. Also Gelb oder Rot oder Schwarz wären super.
Wo liegen die Preise und wie läuft das mit einer Bestellung? Laufen die Karten mit den normalen Treibern oder gibt es da was spezielles. Ich würde sie gern mit Dual Boot nutzen für 98SE und Win XP SP3.
Wäre klasse wenn Anthony oder jemand anders was wüsste.

Ich habe zwei V5 6000 Replica. Die laufen mit den normalen Treibern. (abgesehen von der PCI Version unter XP)
Generell würde ich zu einer PCI Version raten, wenn es 9x sein kann, da du hier zu schöneren Mainboards greifen kannst. Pentium 4 / Core 2 / AMD Opteron etc
leider hast du bei der V5 6000 keine DVI out. Der V5 5500 Nachbau hat DVI / HDMI, allerdings lohnt es sich hier mehr eine V5 5500 PCI zu nehmen und DVI nachzurüsten. Erstens Originaler und so viel mehr bringt der Nachbau nicht (neuere Elektrik, HDMI Out, grössere Cooler).

i need a working assembly of these cards to see if it's possible to do something or not. my previous attempt at acquiring this thing has failed. no new attempts so far.

ATM im running a sis651 board with 2.8ghz Pentium 4 1 gig of ram. as for drivers I've installed directx9c and the agp drivers for the board. I've tried the reference drivers Amigamerlin and the some what new widescreen drivers but all of them just give me code 24 after installing.

unfortunately i have zero experience with sis chipsets. my advice is to stick with well-known platforms with maximum compatibility.

I only ever got it to work once on that board and I've not been able to replicate what ever I did to make it work.

i'm using a modern win98 build with many things integrated into it, patches, drivers for newer devices, etc. enthusiasts making these builds. very pleased with its compatibility. try using something similar.
win98 works fine on 1366 platform, there's a guide exist. i'm not even talking about 775, am2, etc.
