Meine Strange God black AGP ist gestern heil angekommen und hat die Seriennummer: 700035
Leider hatte ich noch keine Zeit, sie zu testen. Anthony hat sie vor der Auslieferung allerdings getestet, sollte also laufen 
Außerdem weiß ich, dass Strauchdieb seine Snow White in Betrieb hat und schon auf der letzten Retro LAN damit gezockt hat. Er kann ja auch gerne noch die Seriennummer hier mitteilen

I've been looking for an affordable V5 5500 PCI for a long time. So if you have contacts or an idea how to get a card for a sub E-bay price, I would be very happy to hear from you

Kind if sad and gut wrenching to see someone else's working being sold for so much coin, 950 Eur that seller should be avoided at all times.
150 Eur max, no more for mass produced card, Greedy sellers seem to be taking over, or well they are trying.... they are the unwanted capitalists of this damaged 3dfx community, they are the ones killing it basically, all of that just needs to end.
hmm I dont think so. This price is lower than most of the other cards who are offered at the moment, including the original package and the incredible work from Backfire. The card will be sold soon, Im sure. These Voodoo cards are turning into very rare collectibles everyone wants to have. Its the same as it is with the old motorcycles from WW2 for example. They were mass products, not really good produced but today multiple times more expensive than in the past as they were new.
So its not worth thinking about

Waren hier auch die Aavid Lüfter im Lieferumfang inbegriffen? Wenn ja, welchen Anschluss haben die denn? Kann man die auf eine V5 5500 stecken ohne den Stecker zu modifizieren?

Ja, Macrium Reflect sagt mir auch was. Mit einer QNAP ist QSync allerdings kostenlos und auch sehr einfach zu verwenden. Ein Kunde von mir synchronisiert zB seinen Arbeits Laptop und sein iPad vom Kleingewerbe mit der NAS, das funktioniert echt super und geht auch für Windows, Linux und Apple Geräte bei gleichzeitig sehr nutzerfreundlicher Software^^

Und ich freu mich hier über 4x3TB in meiner QNAP im RAID 6...
So hat halt jeder seine Anforderungen^^

Wie sichert bzw. Backuped ihr eure Daten in der Regel? Hab für mich QSync entdeckt, das synchronisiert die NAS bzw. die Ordner darauf automatisch mit einer extra dafür abgestellten HDD in meinem Hauptrechner, sobald ich den einschalte. Bei meinen Datenmengen ist das noch praktikabel, auch wenn ich nur ein oder zwei Mal in der Woche am Rechner sitze.
Same for me and Strauchdieb. Maybe there is a possibility for the payment. At the moment, Anthony is collecting some informations about this.
oh ja, das würde mich auch interessieren! Es gibt ja einige Aussagen, dass 32MB pro VSA100 in bestimmten Spielen schon limitieren können, weshalb diverse V5 5500er schon eine Speicherverdoppelung spendiert bekommen haben. Mit einem jumperbaren BIOS kann man das jetzt sehr komfortabel herausstellen

Ich finde so eine Karte echt ne super Sache! Leider ist die Seite von BP-Freax down. Hat Blacktron und/oder Darkgeneral die aktuelle Datei?
Die Karte hier direkt im Forum zu betreiben wäre natürlich super komfortabel und ne saubere Sache. Wenn das aber zu aufwändig zu pflegen ist, könnte man die ja auch auslagern.

Darum gehts mir nicht. Ich habe schon ein Chaintech CT-7VJL bei Backfire zum Recappen, was für die 56k herhalten darf
Ich wollte nur darauf hinweisen, dass ein KT3 Ultra II entgegen der Kompatibilitätsliste bei längerem Betrieb eventuell doch inkompatibel sein könnte.
