Yeah, why not put up a poll? If the options to choose from are already set in stone, why not? I think I'd go for the "Voodoo 5 6000 Remastered" name, sounds clean and professional to me. "Snow White" is real nice of course, but only makes sense for the actually white version.
Voodoo5 6000 Redux, they have a Voodoo5 6000 bios after all.

On the linguistic-cultural issue, I agree with you. It is the reason for giving "different titles" to international films that are distributed worldwide. The country changes, the language/culture changes, the title of the film changes, as well as some dialogue content.

And probably to many more, given how English is still kind of the "the" international language. You can *NOT* make this look good, no matter how much you care to explain it.
It's like designing a product, and then throwing a huge "shit" sticker on it. There may be a fancy and fun backstory to it, and maybe it means something really cool, but to the average customer... it just says "shit" on the box right there, you know what I mean? That's why the "SUX" moniker didn't come across very elegantly for some, up to the level of people actually being outright shocked by it, and understandably so. At first glance it looks like at attempt to dirty and ridicule the Voodoo moniker.
Now there were absolutely no bad intentions there, I'm aware, and so is everybody else by now I assume, so no hard feelings or anything.
But yeah... no matter how hard I try... "SUX" will just never feel right, no matter what, it just doesn't work for me.
PS.: I have no idea who Marco Masini is, and I also don't speak any Italian, so that tells me nothing.

Marketing move apt or not, the Special Unified Xccelerator 6000 (S.U.X. 6000) will be remembered also for this, the misunderstanding of the reader, and many times lies in its malice...
And this could be a good marketing move too.

Die beiden neuesten Versionen, Snow Wite AGP und SUX 6000 3rd Series, haben 256 MB.
Abhängig von Ihrem Verwendungszweck, nur Motherboards mit 2x AGP-kompatiblem Steckplatz, Leistung gleich kompatible Hardware.
Vielleicht mit Anthony 's agp4x Adapter, wenn er aus der Entwicklung heraus ist oder verfügbar, für Motherboards wie Asrock 4coredual-sata2 oder Asrock am2nf3-vsta, mit intel X6800 oder QX6800 CPU oder AMD Phenom II 980 CPU für Nforce 3. Für eine höhere AGP-Leistung aufgrund eines leistungsfähigeren Prozessors/RAM.
Oder Motherboards mit 66 mhz Pci-X, die ich oben erwähnt habe. Noch höhere Leistung dank leistungsstärkerer CPU / Ram.
Ich würde, wenn ich könnte (ich habe keine...), beide nehmen, um in meiner Wahl nicht eingeschränkt zu sein, vielleicht "Custom Version". Aber das ist ein "wenn ich könnte", und das kann ich nicht.
Es liegt also an Ihnen, ob Sie Ihren Geburtstag und Weihnachten 2022 gemeinsam feiern wollen? Oder feiern Sie einfach Ihren Geburtstag und Weihnachten im Dezember 2022?

Ich möchte eine kleine Anmerkung zu meinem vorherigen Beitrag hinzufügen: V56K bald Commodityware :-D
Im Falle dieser Grafikkarte, SUX 6000 / Snow White AGP, handelt es sich um ein Einzelstück, nicht um einen Nachbau, es gibt keine funktionierende Grafikkarte, nicht auf "Prototyp"-Niveau, die auf dem Weltmarkt veröffentlicht wurde.
Die Tatsache, dass die 3D-Grafikbeschleunigungsabteilung von neuen Chips betrieben wird, die von den jeweiligen Herstellern vor über 20 Jahren entwickelt wurden, macht diese Beschleunigerkarte nicht zu einem Klon.
Wenn beispielsweise Diamond Multimedia, das seit Jahren 3D-Beschleunigerkarten mit Chips von Drittanbietern, darunter 3dfx, herstellt, heute, am 1.1.2022, beschließen würde, nach 21 Jahren eine Videokarte mit diesen Merkmalen zu entwickeln, wäre dies eine "Neue Videokarte, SUX 6000 / Snow White AGP, betrieben von 3dfx VSA-100 355-0026-220 / 355-0026-320 Chips von Diamond Multimedia".
Die SUX 6000 1. 2. und 3. Serie, die Snow White AGP, wurde von der ZXCLXIV geschaffen, von Anthony und seinem Team von Grund auf entwickelt, basierend auf den Schaltplänen des 3dfx voodoo5 6000 AGP Prototyps ( Reverse Engineering (Übersetzung von G. Translator) ), und denjenigen zur Verfügung gestellt, die sie anfordern, etwas, das Diamond Multimedia, 3dfx oder irgendein anderer Hersteller noch nie getan hat, mit der Möglichkeit, sie auf Anfrage anzupassen.

Abgesehen von der Benchmark-Diskussion wird es in Kürze einen ausführlichen Bericht mit den verschiedenen Testkonfigurationen geben. Die Kompatibilität mit dem Intel X58 ist gut. Mir sind keine Tests bekannt, die mit dem Intel E7505-Chipsatz durchgeführt wurden.
Aus den Tests, die in letzter Zeit durchgeführt wurden, wird das Supermicro x8sax 1.1 oder 2.0 empfohlen.
Der Unterschied zwischen den beiden Versionen 1.1 und 2.0 beschränkt sich nach Analyse der mir zur Verfügung stehenden Daten vermutlich auf eine Verbesserung der Stromversorgung:
Im neuesten Handbuch ist die Version 2.0 aufgeführt, und das Bios ist eindeutig und macht keinen Unterschied zwischen 1.1 und 2.0.

Ich komme zu spät, aber das ist schon in Ordnung, ich sage meine Meinung.
Als 3dfx-Sammler kaufe ich nur den Original-Prototyp, der von den 3dfx-Ingenieuren entworfen wurde, weil er von ihnen in den 2000er Jahren hergestellt wurde, weil es sehr selten ist, einen zu haben, selbst wenn er nicht funktioniert, und weil er die Geschichte von 3dfx bis zum Ende repräsentiert. Die Kosten werden sich nicht ändern. Sie kann angepasst werden, was auch notwendig ist, aber ihr Wert bleibt derselbe, er kann nur wachsen.
Wenn ich jetzt, im Jahr 2021/22, wissen will, was es bedeutet, mit einer funktionierenden Voodoo 6000 auf einem System ab den 2000er Jahren zu spielen, Agp 2x oder Pci 33/66mhz, dann kaufe ich eine der Videokarten der Marke ZXCLXIV, die einen Prototyp, der nie das Licht der Welt erblickt hat, nachgebaut hat, um ihn funktionsfähig zu machen, und ihn verbessert hat und weiter verbessern wird.
Wird es zum Sammlerstück? Das werden wir erst im Laufe der Zeit erfahren. Jetzt benutze ich ihn (wenn ich einen kaufe...), um damit zu spielen und zu sehen, wie anders die 3D-Welt der Vergangenheit hätte sein können, wenn bei 3DFX alles richtig gelaufen wäre.
Wenn all dies im wirklichen Leben möglich wäre, wäre es schade, wenn ich es nicht versuchen könnte.
"The Family Man" kann jedoch ein Beispiel dafür sein.
