hehe well I just fixed the second pic hehe , damn typo's lol but there is some tape that can be seen in the second pic, I used this tape for like a few months to bend the cable so it remains to that position heh.

Nice R360 & RV350 Bull
I liked the Salmon Orange PCB which ASUS used for those cards, which also was used on this one:
ASUS ATi Radeon X800 XT Platinum Ediiton AGP 256MB 256Bit GDDR3 Rev.A1 0441
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3129…02+0441+Top.JPG
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3129…2+0441+Back.JPGThis is the X800 XT PE from ASUS because of the yellow connector it has next to the molex and well these drivers told me enough proof hehe
[Blocked Image: http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/31335-1/R420.jpg]Though I have to admit, that ASUS 9800 XT aka R360 is the most beautiful 9800XT made, that's my opinion though.
As for the most beautiful 9800 Pro definitely this one:
ATi Radeon 9800 Pro AGP 256MB 256Bit DDRII Rev.A2 0324
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3026…02+0324+Top.JPG
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3025…2+0324+Back.JPG@ SK1
I went for the XFX because it looks different than most stock models
To be very honest I envy any VGA card made from ATi, NVIDIA, S3, Matrox, 3dfx, I prefer to have a neutral view at such things, thx and not pro to a single company, I don't want to be like that, that's only for the weak minded.Even if it's an XFX it's the most beautiful RV770 I hve seen, and here the specs of it
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/35224-1/RV770+specs.jpgAnd another thing The performance of R600 XT should of been what RV770 XT is now, so this could give you all an idea to what and where ATi went wrong heh.
-
Woohoo, the xfx 4870 looks really neat
hehe thanx , she's a beauty, heh that she is mate
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3515…09+Headshot.JPGThe matt black PCB, the black backplate and the red DVI-I's make it look like something truly different from a spectators view, even that the cooler is red, the stickers it wares does give it that extra XFX touch
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3520…tion+Angled.JPGhere's a neat shot I made of the rear side of the card:
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3515…2+0409+Rear.JPGIf you look carefully you can see a white lining, where ATi would of planned a Rear Black Amor plating like HD 2900 XT, HD 3870 X2 and HD 4870 X2 have and as you also can see PCB date is 0409 week 04 year 2009, which is when XFX launched their first Raddies hehe.

Here a few neat shots I made of the XFX HD 4870 XXX Edition 1024MB GDDR5 + ATi HD 3870 X2 1024MB GDDR3 ATi R680 Non-Qualification Sample 1 of 10 made in the world and an ATi HD 2900 XT 512MB GDDR3:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYvV92TfpYYHere's another pic of what's inside the case from a distance
[Blocked Image: http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/35196-2/RV770+in+Action+With+Flash.JPG]I used a slow flasher, so now you can see the fan blades but there was a fraction of movement when I snapped the shot and now this shot also explains the lightning like patterns in the white ledded fans, it's because of their bat wing designed fan blades

You could wait untill May, these the new single PCB variant of the GTX 295 will be available
http://www.guru3d.com/news/single-pc…e-in-the-works/
[Blocked Image: http://www.abload.de/img/singlepcbgtx295v7wi.jpeg]"The new GTX295 will adopt a single PCB design known as P658, which means NVIDIA can place two GPUs onto one PCB board. As such wiring and power supply parts as well as the dual direction cooler need to be rearranged, it is rumored that NVIDIA is to finalize the engineering sample of new GTX 295 within April, but it won’t be officially launched until May."
Advantage is that all the hot air exits the card in a single direction out of the case

Hi All
My mate Niels and I have done something different today
Remember when we had a HD 2900 XXT testbed? well we used the same setup to build a CUDA & OC test bed with the following parts:
AMD Athlon64 X2 2x 512KB L2 [2800Mhz] @ 6000+ [3100Mhz]
MSI K9A Platinum AMD 580X Chipset
2x 1GB Mushkin DDR2 - 800 CL5
XFX GeForce 9800 GX2 XXX Edition PCI-E 2.0 x16 1024MB GDDR3
eVGA e-Geforce 8800 Ultra Super Clocked Edition PCI-E 1.1 x16 768MB GDDR3
1x Maxtor 120GB SATAI 150 HDD
1x 550 Watt PSU
1x Zalman Fan Controller / wattage monitorWinXP Pro 32 + SP3
Thge Latest Foreware Cuda drivers
DX9.0cSo here are the pics of our event.
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3513…CUDA+system.JPG http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3513…DA+system+b.JPG http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3513…+CUDA+setup.JPG
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3511…E+closeup+b.JPG http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3512…XXE+closeup.JPG http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3512…E+closeup+c.JPGAnd here the cards neatly installed
[Blocked Image: http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3512…E+installed.jpg]Tomorrow we will OC this odd setup even that our CPU may be the bottleneck, our goal is to see how much we can get out of this system with these parts, a Thermalright Ultra 120 Limited Edition is planned so we can get more out of the CPU, as which better cooling could result higher clocks, if that doesn't work we are plaining to use an Opteron 12.xx serie's CPU, since these have unlocked multipliers and they seem to OC better than A64X2 BE's so for that part I will keep this topic up to date.
For CUDA we use Folding@Home.
IF you guys have any other tips or programs we could test CUDA with, please do reply.
As for the games that support Physx we are gonna use UT 2007, Crysis Warhead and 3D mark Vantage, but these titles we are going to use Windows Vista Business 64 + SP1.And here's something funnyl i did with the 8800 U, I used it as a ramp for my Opel Omega

Hi all
Well here it is, after some renovating as such I gave the ones new elastic bands to the units that needed them and now it looks alot nicer and I also added more neutral animals and more crystals, rocks and pebbels from Southern Portugal for the marine life part
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3503…op+Sections.JPG
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3503…er+Sections.JPG
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3504…er+Sections.JPG
And here the entire DR Collection, most units are from their release dated years 1985-1990 , the boxes in there were ones I bought as replacements, these were bought in berlin via ebay.de in 2006.
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3502…e+All+Units.JPG
Anyways I hope you all will enjoy and do show me your thoughts and memories about it as well.
Please keep it ontopic, if this isn't your thing, don't bother posting, since this is for die-hard retro fans
-
An impossible task.
Hmm that's a shame though, E-Tags do have the most interesting details of the cards history hehe, though you could make for each V6K one of these
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3500…y+razrx+Top.JPGAsk razrx he has the know how plans on how to make these cool boxes
Oh Gary is this you?
[Blocked Image: http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/35227-1/gary_shirt.jpg] -
what tha hell, a ride my horse simulator? I rather ride a young lady instead
Man isn't your friend gonna love this hahahahahmm there seems to be some rendering problems such as with the fences and buildings
but this is a game my sister's daughters play on their Nintendo DS's, oh maaaaan just imagine being a programmer of that game hahaha would of been worse than going out with yer ex loll -

I'm planning on a new camera even as we speak
Sehr geil mein freund !!!German for Very cool my friend!!!
Though one thing the Rev.A3 3400 & The Rev.A2 2600 are in the wrong order haha
I see the cards on your clip like this
V3 Voodoo Volts board Rev.A 3699, 2x2 Comdex Rev. 45-4999, Blank Rev.A0 0700, Printed Rev.A0 0700, Rev.A1 1500, Rev-A1500 Octa Fan, Rev.A3 3400 Elvis Edition, Rev.A2 2600
, Rev.A 3700, Rev.A 3700 Hels Edition, Rev.A 3900 and Rampy Rev.A1 4700.
Should of been like this if wanting the correct formup hehe
V3 Voodoo Volts board Rev.A 3699, 2x2 Comdex Rev. 45-4999, Blank Rev.A0 0700, Printed Rev.A0 0700, Rev.A1 1500, Rev-A1500 Octa Fan, Rev.A2 2600, Rev.A3 3400 Elvis Edition, Rev.A 3700, Rev.A 3700 Hels Edition, Rev.A 3900 and Rampy Rev.A1 4700.But hey man it's still truly cool to see nonethe less
and do add the new cards to your website too
Here is what Omega_Supre has gathered, all his V6K's have their original E-Tag as well and a few have a VV
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/33795-2/helse+zooi.JPGStill impressive for the most dense populated country in the EU aka Holland hehe also the 2nd largest V6K variated collection in the world hehe, not bad for a University Student
from left to right:
Rev.A0 0700, Rev.A1 1500, Rev.A1 1500, Rev.A2 2600, Rev.A3 3400 & Rev.A 3900
Only his Rev.A 3900 has a PCI Rework, his 3400 and 2600 have no PCI Rework and these are in their original state, his working Rev.A1 1500 is the one next to the Rev.A0 0700, this one does need a healup from V6K's Healer H.S., the Rev.A0 0700 is non functional but can be fixed, one of it's reworks seems to be detatched from it's soldering point; the rework on the 3rd VSA, nearest to the tail section of the card, which can be seen on this picture very clearly:
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/30514-1/Rev_A0+0700+top.jpgThis is truly the coolest Rev.A0 0700 I have seen since there is even writings on the VSA-100 chips as well and the strange reworks done to it, as the info on it's E-Tag, dunno what it all means but it seems that there was alot of work put to this card
Oh well here's a refreshment from my side
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/34991-1/The+Voodoo+Table+a.JPG
Just something different in there, a mix of everything, since it's placed in the living room, it looks more neutral that way. Here's something I promised to post hehe, the Voodoo5 6000 AGP Replica box I recieved from razrx
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3500…y+razrx+Top.JPG http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3500…+razrx+Rear.JPG http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3499…azrx+angled.JPG
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3500…of+Purchase.JPG http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3501…+6000+lable.JPGAnd here my 3dfx boxes with the V6K Box , they are above my bed, the green/white starfighter you see is Anakin Skywalker's Eta-2 Actis Jedi Intercepter, from The Revenge Of The Sith.
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/d/3501…+collection.JPG
@ gdonovanif you can get a hold of all the E-Tags that belong to your cards, do try this, hence they have all the cards history and could be very interesting to read what these E-Tags tell of the card's past.
