I thank you greatly for what you have done for us ernesto.che and I am quite sure that Hutzeputz will do a great job for keeping this place intact, but plese don't leave , since having you not around anymore would feel like a great loss
Still I do think we all owe you a donation or so for what you have done, really and to me the 3dfx spirit hasn't left you fully heheh.I'd say if you like Mac's use a 5500 PCI Macintosh to game with from time to time these should do very well hehe.
Anyways I just hope you are willing to stick around mate, seeing you go would be the least thing I wish for as all of us would also.

Well DXX_Rebirth was not made to support 3dfx the cool thing is I was the first that got it going on a 5500 PCI Macintosh with PC Bios 1.18_LCD with my Dual OpteronDP 248 CG, for that case I posted it here because I wasn't sure if it should belong in the 3dfx game screenshot thread.
Since I gave it 3dfx support I could of posted it there but what matters Turrican would of moved it there if it was such a problem, but since this is a 3dfx website it didn't seem to matter I guess
As for Mipmapping, yes it was activated , dunno what it really does but it ddn't make the 5500 AGP do glitching or so so I guess it went fine.
the game did run very slow near to unplayable with FSAA x4 hehe.

Yeah I will contact him from who he got this R680 Non-Qualification Sample since it's 1 of 10 made worldwide as Sir R. Larose told me an Ex-Ati Engineer who worked on R300 til R480, he said that's an ATi R680 NQS allright damn rare as well.

So that expalins that part the photo's he or she used are real, I did just mail the seller from where he/she got the card from or if he/she was the previewer of the card it's seld and I also asked the seller to hear his/her side of the story

Zugegeben, es sind Grenzfälle, aber mit SuperSampling wäre das bei dieser Auflösung nicht passiert. Daran sieht man wieder, wie scheiße MultiSampling ist.
Well I did sharpen this shot btw with IrFanView, heh forgot to mention that, I shapened it to see how the FSAA worked
and to be clear Multi sampling is a much better and heavier way of FSAA than Super Sampling ;, it's not for nothing most New gen cards use it NVIDIA & ATi Wise...Back to topic shall we not eh?

where? I don't see any jaggies the skin of the plane is a hand done one I found it somewhere, but the plane it's self is perfect as the surroundings -

heh yeah the Geforce 4 Ti heh I loved those I still have my Leadtek GeForce4 Ti-4600 here 100% complete with the box and even it's waranty void ticket haha, here she is with a Hercules GeForce 2 Ultra, these are my favourite GeForce cards ever made

But yeah I truly agree the GeForce 4 Ti line had the best DX8.1 cards that's for sure, though I used them of their awesome OpenGL rendering power, Quake 3 was a dream on the GF4 Ti4600 aka NV25.

hmm the GeForce 4 Ti4200 8X aka NV28 isn't retro enough but on the otherside it is an awesome piece of hardware none the less
For the Main VGA I would of gone with a Matrox G400 MAX
But yeah why not it looks okay, love the AWE 32 PnP in there, do you also have the extra WRAM modules for it, as it looks like it has extra ram slotkets for extra Wav Ram heh.
to come to a 3dfx LAN with a Voodoo1 yeah that would indeedly be reliving the good ole days
