Meet Tylosaurus M2011 xD Mobile gaming to the extremes!

  • Hi all, here a little December surprise from my side as gaming laptops go :)

After looking around for quite some time, there were quite a few choices,

I first went for some odd branded BTO laptop with a 15.6" TFT, but it had issues that the monitor did not go on, went back twice and due to the issues I had with it, Alternate did a great job to find an even better replacement which would normally cost 100 eur more, which I only paid 50 euro more, so here the specs!

  • Mobile = Turning the notebook into standby-mode and move to the next room?
I do not like such gaming desktop replacements. Why on earth do they install batteries in such a gaming thing??? In order to make it even more expensive?

Well for me this is what I need on the go, since I will be traveling a lot more it's not only for games the high end hardware will be ideal for compiling & converting self made HD films to a smaller forat so I can upload them to my You Tube channel, as for games yes, I prefer something small like this for lans, you need to carry far less and you won't need much room to get settled, on the batter the HD 6990M disables and the Intel HD 3000 is used, this uses far less battery power than the Radeon, so even with the HD 3000 graphics which is implented in the CPU I can do my other less stressed programs with a long battery life of a neat 4 hours + ;)

When I buy a laptop I want it to be capable for everything the weight is also very light, 2.83 kilo's compared to the 9 kilo's my Dell Ispiron 9100 Limited Xtreme Edition of 2004 was, for me this is what I like, a laptop that also replaces a desktop and is capable of handeling anything on the go, no limitations and thus nothing compromised ;)

You don't have to like it, the main importance is that I have to like it, I need it for everything on the go, due to my illness building high end PC's is hardly possible, this is the best I can come up with and to me it's worth everything, if others don't like it too bad for them, that won't change my mind, such thoughts are useless to me.

  • I also don't like gaming notebooks / laptops normally, but this one is simply overpowered, so it's cool. :topmodel:

yeah well for me it's the ultimate solution which is most of im[portance due to my illness which is a very rare and hard to treat variant of Sarcoidosis I have arthritis like pains daly, per day I need 3x 600mg iBrufen's to ease from the pain. thing is I can't lift up a PC anymore way too heavy, I need something mobile but that can give me similar performance, thus a mobile workstation / desktop aka gaming laptop is the perfect solution, so this way I can still enjoy the fun others also have on LAN parties.

the variant of Sarcoidsis i have is chronicle , thus it will only get worse as I get older, it's no fun, I need this solution more than anyone knows.
