Mirc Clone für Linux

Kann mir jemand helfen? Ich hätte es gern genauso komfortabel wie bei Windows und Kopete gefällt mir nicht beim IRC

Du gehst auf Download und dann suchst du Pakete, die extra für SUSE gedacht sind. Dann machst du einfach einen Doppelklick auf das Paket. Oder du gehts in die Console, gehst in das Verzeichnis, in dem das Paket ist und gibst rpm -ivh paketname ein und dann installiert der das auch.

Oder du öffnest yast oder yast2, ich weiß nicht was, auf jedenfall deinen Paketmanager indem du Pakete nachinstallieren kannst und suchst xchat oder kirc oder lirc und so weiter.

Und weiss jemand warum nach einem Treiberupdate bei mir keine 3D Beschleunigung im SuSE 9.1 mehr vorhanden ist?

X-Chat is leider kein mIRC Clone, die 2 kann man nicht vergleichen, da X-Chat nicht erweiterbar ist und so irgendwie weniger bietet.

Für Linux hab ich bis jetzt keine akzeptable Alternative gefunden

zum glueck hab ich Debian und Gentoo, da is das alles besser, rpm is eh muell

kvirc ist auch nicht schlecht!

Ich kann nur xchat bzw. irssi empfehlen...
Und SuSE zu deinstallieren und Debian drauf zu machen

Das wär mir ganz neu. Wenn dem so ist, sind also sämtliche Plugins die man auf der Homepage bekommt Fakes?

Ok, hab hatte da Blackout, ich wollts anders schreiben: Nicht mIRC kompatibel, also mIRC Scripte gehn mit x-chat nicht, was sehr sehr Schade ist.

X-Chat kostet unter Windows mittlerweile auch, wenn man es länger als 30 Tage benutzen möchte. Find ich persönlich gar nicht mal so schlecht, da das Portieren schwer ist

warum nimmste nich wine um damit mirc unter Linux laufen zu lassen? Dann funzen auch die mirc Skripte. Mach ich persönlich auch.

jo. Wurde es.
Machst ne konsole auf und schreibst folgendes rein.
wine <pfad zum Programm>/mirc.exe
Kannst auch gleich ins Verzeichnis gehen wo mirc installiert is. dann einfach wine mirc.exe
Du kannst aba natürlich auch das mirc Setup mit wine durchlaufen lassen.
