Ok, thanks a lot!

hmm oke hey TM30 does it also support ECC Reg ram as well? might be an interesting board to replace my Dual OpteronDP 248 CG some day :), my choice is the P6T Professional though hehe.
I wonderif the Nehalem EX works in these boards, the new quad core Xeon with HT , 8 cores and 16 threads

[Blockierte Grafik: http://hothardware.com/newsimages/Ite…ex-overview.png] I WANT as 2P setupHah! Who would want 6, while 8 is possible as well

Why having a quad core with HT when you can have a AMD system with 8x4 physical cores ?
Maybe this is the wrong thread to talk about OT AMD/INTEL stuff hihi

now here it is... fully deteced as you can see...

gold leader, i dunno wether it supports ecc ram... gotta check it on the asus page (you can download the manual)... BUT ecc ram is useless for homecomputers. its slower and much less overclockable...

Well I have have an AMD systrem with 2x 4 physical cores thus 8 in total, the Xeon Nehalem EX has 8 physical cores + HT making that 16 threads :+ this would crush my setup rofl, even a Quad Core + HT based Xeon Bloomfield @ 4000 Mhz can beat my system in some various apps, only with massive FPU based programs does my 8-way system have the upper hand, this is where Real Time Flight Simulators come to place.
My next goal is Dual OptyeronDP Istanbul 2445 12x 3200Mhz :), this will take place about 1 year from now.
