Hi,

Ich will nichts übertakten, ich will Krach und Vibrationen (sound and rumble)
Well it seemed that the sound card was functional for windows Vista but it did not produce sound, odd thoug, I am now using it in a PCI 32 bit 33Mhz slot and it works fine, at least I know the card is fine.
to get 4.1 working I did have to use the advanced EWntertainment mode to enable the background speakers, I didn't do this with the Vista x64 setup when the Prelude 7.1 was in that PCI-X 100Mhz slot hmm, might have adeeper look into this this weekend, in theory any PCI-X slot 133Mhz, 100Mhz or 66Mhz is 100% backwards compliant with 32Bit 66Mhz & 33Mhz busses and speeds. Since Winvista Busy 64 did detect a working unit.
Anyways I will kep you updated on this one.
