Here is something nice I thought about shopwing you all which I got from my ATi source @ Tweakers.net
A Slow Speed Alpha Board, these were the first made Engineering Samples of nthe HD 6970 VGA card which uses the ATi RV970 XT Cayman VPU.

TIBORRR is the Engineer for whom obtained the card and worked with it, just some labrat as most Engineers are called
Here some specs of this render beast, these scores are from an early Engineering Sample, they can only imporve with the retail models, which are far more fine tuned, so please do keep that in mind

The performance of the HD 6970 should be estimated between the GTX 480 and 580, but in soem good cases it can outperform the GTX 580 by a large margin, hereby also the HD 5970, these are all estimated performance indications of this VGA card, it's TDP is also 100watts lesser than that of a GTX 480, so for the people that have an 850 watt PSU, you won't have to worry to buy a bigger PSU, this is also something good to keep in mind.
