    Nah, I'm not really that interested in 5500 cards anymore (don't have or need a Mac v5 5500 anyway), and REALLY not in a second VGA card for the 6000 System, especially not another D3D/Glide/OGL capable device. ;) No Dual-Monitors planned either. I'm thinking about something multimedia, hmmm...

    Die hat da schon noch genug Luft, die VSA-100 AAVID Kühler sind ja nicht wirklich hoch. Selbst wennst da direkt unter der 6000 noch eine Karte einbaust, ist da ja noch genügend Platz zum Ansaugen von Luft, und momentan ist noch ein Slot zwischen der VoodooTV FM und der 6000. Ich glaube, um die 6000 in ernsthafte thermische Bedrängnis zu bringen brauchts schon schlimmeres, die hält ja arg viel Hitze aus, und die paar Low-Power Karten da machen ja ned viel aus.

    naja mit ner laufenden v1 gibts nachher wieder triberprobleme.......
    richtig viel wär noch ne karte mit voller baulänge z.B. ne Matrox g200 MMS mit 4GPUs und 4 Monitoranschlüssen

    Ich hab ja einen 19" CRT dran, und das System soll noch transportabel sein, wie oben gesagt, Multimonitoring kommt da nicht in Frage. Hätte auch keine wirkliche Verwendung für eine MMS und noch weitere Schirme an dem System (geht das mit Win98 überhaupt gescheit?!).

    Edit: Volle Baulänge? Hmm, ich hätte noch einen Promise SuperTrak SX6000 da, aber da gibts glaub ich gar keine Win9x Treiber. Oder die X-24? Nah, die bringts auch nicht, da wär die v1 noch besser (Für Schleichfahrt etc.)

    well that bracket isn't senseless it's made for full length cards as an Extension support bracket which has this purpose:

    Also something nice thanx to SK1 :) he made a gif file to show the comparence of the two 5000 PCI's the Rev.A0 4899 and the Rev.A1 0900:

    the Rev.A0 4899 has SMD's on places where there are Elko's on the Rev.A1 0900 as the Second VGA area has some differentials too ;)
