Maniac81 If you need help with drivers for that Voodoo5 5000 AGP 32MB rev.A0 3700 let me know , I have an archive of drivers of that card
Super cool you got one bud, always a glorious thing to see Had the others ass well, the 5500 AGP X4 & 6000 were fairly easy to use, the 5000 AGP year that was something else alright.
For very odd reasons, I was never able to get SLI working in NTFS Operating systems, even by adding custom made strings to certain drivers SLI would refuse t operate.
Back in the day I had two 5000 AGP's myself and a 5000 PCI as well, speaking of which, here my best cards from back in the day
Oddly though, the 5000 PCI did work with SLI in NTFS Operating systems but the 28 week newer 5000 AGP did not, still questioned on why, I was never able to find out sadly.
Anyways here my best cards from 2006 to 2011:3dfx Velocity 200 AGP 16MB Rev.A0 2699 Engineering Sample
3dfx Voodoo5 5000 AGP x4 32MB Rev.A0 3700 (1st card)
3dfx Voodoo5 5500 PCI_DVI 64MB Rev.A1 2900 3dfx Apple Group Development Board
3dfx Voodoo5 6000 AGP 128MB Rev.A 3700 + Late Voodoo Volts, Internal Power Hookup by Gary Donobvan & PCI Re-Work by ex-3dfx Engineer Sir Hank Semenec.3dfx Voodoo5 5000 AGP x4 32MB Rev.A0 3700 (2nd card)
3dfx Voodoo5 5000 PCI 32MB Rev.A1 09003dfx Voodoo5 5500 AGP x4 64MB Rev.A2 3500 IBM OEM Card 1 of 400 pcs worldwide
3dfx Voodoo5 5500 AGP 64MB Rev.A 2500 Production Board
there won't be a day that goes by that I will regret getting rid of these, now the photo's only remain with the gained knowledge and experience. -
Gold Leader thank you for your offer, if I need help I will let you know.
I only tested the card to be OK in an Epox 8K5A3 , Windows 98SE and it seems to be working well.
You had a very impressive collection, sad that it is gone.
At the Moment I´m very busy because of Homeoffice (they are trying to drown me in work and it seems that they are succesfull)
I´m going to test the card as soon as possibel. (no overclocking or other bullshit, these are monuments!)

Yeah got all the photo's you can check out my research to what I gained with my Napalm boards in this thread at EVGA:
https://forums.evga.com/3dfx-Voodoo5-6…s-m2185131.aspx
it takes a while to load, now thanks to @Surrimugges would for updating our 3dfx gallery this thread is readable again
And yea I am still in pain on selling those cards to be honest, my Voodoo3 35000 is the only one I have left, even I rebought it in 2019, better something than nothing at all.
The Voodoo3 3500 was always a card that I started with, so hopefully I can find a Voodoo5 5500 AGP or PCI Mac, but yeah high hopes since the prices are plain stupendous these days. -

Many thanks man, at least I left some good memories and knowledge behind and I know I made the lists right after I sold my cards, dunno who's Voodoo5 5000 & 6000 you have tho, since I didn't see you in my lists either, interesting otherwise
Anyways I am glad you still have your 3dfx marvels and it does me good to see them again : )
Also my 5000 AGP's worked fine in 98 SE NL with UnOfficial Service Pack 1.6 and the Amigamerlin 2.9 driver worked also fine. but Win 2K Pro & WinXP Pro wasn't so grando rofl
My first 5000 AGP did stable game runs of around 7 hours the second card didn'tgive me more than 5 hours, the system I used was the following:
AMD AthlonXP 2700+ T-Bred B @ 2167Mhz
EPoX EP-8K3A+
1x 1GB PC-3200 Kingston Hyper-X Genesis + 1x 1GB Corsair XMS Platinum | 2GB PC-3200 @ PC-2700.
3dfx Voodoo5 5000 AGP x4 32MB Rev.A0 3700
Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy2 Platinum
Win 98 SE NL (Dutch version)
UnOfficial Service pack 1.6 (Was latest at the time I used it)
AmigaMerlin 2.9
Latest x-3dfx drivers for Win9X
Both driver sets worked fine to my best of memories. -
@Maniac81 Können Sie mir bitte die Hardware-ID-Zeichenfolge von beiden V5-Karten geben?

Maniac81 Were you able to get SLI working on the 5000 AGP under a NTFS OS?
This was the one thing I could never get working with 98SE it was no issue at all.
I tried adding binaries in the .cfg files of the drivers to force the driver to enable it but that never worked either, it goes many years back tho.
Here my research on the Voodoo5 5000 AGP x4 32MB Rev.A0 3700 had two of these and the Voodoo5 5000 PCI 32MB rev.A1 0900 had one of these
https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2185135
And the day I hit the main page from 3dfxzone.it for getting a Voodoo5 5000 AGP x4 32MB Rev.A0 3700 working in games under Win98SE NL + Unofficial Service Pack 1.6 in SLI mode and WinXP Pro UK + SP3 even it was single chip, my result was the same was I tried with Win 2K pro + SP4 before this test, you can see this cool front page post here
http://www.3dfxzone.it/news/reader.php?objid=2417
it's just wasn't good enough due to the SLI issue I kept getting with both 5000 AGP boards under any NTFS operating system, it really bugged my mind.
So I just had to be sure, but yea it would of been nice if SLI did work under NTFS Operating systems when it came to the Voodoo5 5000 AGP boards, the 5000 PCI how ever showed no issues, so I dunno what caused this to actually break, I am assuming it was a driver related issue.
But yea I am wondering if you are experiencing the same issues I had and maybe you can find a way to solve this?
Even I don't have my cards anymore, I can still relate to it and maybe help test things as well -

a great memory of my 3dfx past the three Legendary Voodoo5 Graphcs card series
Hey Maniac81 you got me to an old memory!
So here it goes hah
High End:
3dfx Voodoo 5 6000 AGP 128MB Rev.A 3700 + Hank Semenec's PCI-Rework & gdonovan's Internal Power Hookup mod
Mid End:
3dfx Voodoo 5 5500 AGP 64MB Rev.A 2500
Low End:
3dfx Voodoo 5 5000 AGP 32MB Rev.A0 3700
My 3dfx memories will never fade, my photo gallery doesn't lie about it either
And I may not have them physically, but within my mind none of my cards ever left me, but neither the knowledge I gain for them either, so all good here -

what is dark blue voodoo 3 card and green card on the left?
-
Hello
The green card is a Sigma Voodoo 3 3000 and the blue card is a Voodoo 3 from Incredible Technologies without BIOS.
Its a Arcade Card from 0603 .
IT worked up many V3 chips after the end of 3dfx.
-
do you have hi-res photos of these or links? i know about chips, still using in my projects. god bless 3dfx

Wie funktioniert die Karte ohne BIOS?
-
